Ma Boo High!
Hello there!
I'm a mom and a wife and a full time employee in the IT industry.
I have debts! Di ba halata sa blog title ko? :)
For a long time, I didn't have a good attitude towards money. I wouldn't consider it horrible pero it wasn't ideal either.
When I was single I had credit card debts amounting to P30,000. Since wala rin akong malaking ipon, di ko mabayaran lahat so puro minimum payments lang kaya ko. My parents saved me and then I paid them back. Di raw nila maintindihan bakit nagkautang ako dahil wala raw silang kautang-utang. Ika nga, they are good models talaga. Maski role models sila, they were not the best teachers of money either. Puro turo lang sila, walang practical lessons.
When I got married naman, my husband's attitude towards money made it challenging for me to practice my improving financial skills. Siya naman kasi ay laking hirap, so nung may earning power na sya he decided to enjoy life because he felt that he deserved it.
Frustrated ako about our finances, so I had to do something about it. He has jumped into our new lifestyle rin - living within our means. What I know is drawn from experience. Ang dami kong sinubukan but any so-called effective ways of doing things are just as effective as the person executing it. I had to dig deep down about what matters.
Here's this blog that I offer to Filipinos who find themselves in the same situation like me. Let's learn together.
